Client Testimonials

Buyer, Berkeley
Alexis Greenberg is a customer-focused, hardworking, smart real estate agent. She helped me find and purchase the perfect house. She didn't try to push me into buying something I didn't really want. She listened carefully to what I wanted and then helped me find it. When it came time to make an offer, Alexis truly represented my interests by helping me get a good deal on the house. She is professional, supportive, and just a great person to work with. I recommend her most highly.

Buyer, El Cerrito
Wow - who'd have thought that my dream of buying a home in the East Bay would ever happen! Through countless open houses, walkthroughs, offers, and MLS searches, you were amazing! I could reach you whenever I needed to, even when I called several times in a day. If I didn't reach you "live", you returned my calls and emails at once; you were always very helpful and answered all of my questions. I appreciated that no question I asked was too silly. You made the entire home-buying process a good experience for me - the nervous first-time buyer. The contractors, inspectors, and painters that you recommended have proven to be wonderful resources as well. Buying a house could have been a scary process, but your endless patience, industry and area expertise made it an adventure instead.

I would never want to use anyone else for buying or selling a home. Thank you for everything you've done to help me realize "the dream".

Seller, 1142 Richmond Street, El Cerrito Townhouse
Alexis sold my condominium in exactly the time period she originally estimated and for a little higher price than expected. I was very, very impressed with the amount of personal time and work she spent on fixing it up and getting it ready to put on the market. First she had a stager/designer look at it and make a plan for what needed to be done and Alexis took it from there; hired the painter, had a new carpet installed, selected and purchased the new appliances, selected light fixtures, hired an electrician, brought in a number of other workers, and personally did a good deal of the work herself. Then the stager brought in furniture, paintings, and other colorful furnishings. This was all done at the originally estimated cost and in a very short time frame -- no surprises!

She managed and coordinated all of this activity and the final result was so remarkable that I wanted to buy it myself.

She planned and presented the property at an open house that attracted a large number of prospective buyers and multiple offers were received. The place looked so beautiful that I was confident that it would sell right away.

I would be very surprised if any other realtor could equal Alexis in knowledge, intelligence, dedication, and just plain hard work.

Buyers, Berkeley
Alexis was incredibly patient, positive, accommodating, and knowledgeable during our two and a half years of searching for the perfect first home. And, she really understands houses. She would truthfully tell us if she thought a house was worth considering or not. She would look at an interior and point out whether the light fixtures were original, if the tiling needed repair, or if the house was not level. She could look at a backyard and layout a vision for making it an urban oasis. Plus, she was always available to talk, meet, show us houses, and offer advice or suggestions. She never seemed to show any frustration over our calls - I think I counted over 10 in one day!

She was always optimistic that we would find the right house in the right neighborhood for the right price. And, it happened! She found us a house that had been on the market for three hours, we submitted an offer without seeing it within another three hours (she knew us so well, was so observant of what we liked and didn't like, that we fully trusted her judgment on whether a house was right or not), our offer was accepted, and we were able to get a fabulous house in North Berkeley. There is no way we could have done this on our own, or with any sort of online real estate agency service. It took Alexis' knowledge of the housing market and the real estate realities of the East Bay, plus her wonderful connections to the vast network of real estate professionals to actually get us into a home.

Not only is she a joy to work with and is genuine, friendly and honest, she really knows what she is doing. We couldn't thank her enough for everything she has done for us.
